Emergency Shelter

Ka Hale A Ke Ola and Na Hale O Waine'e aims to break the cycle of homelessness for our clients. We accomplish the following programs and services:
 

Emergency Six-Week Shelter Program:

• Dormitory housing for single men and women
• Apartments for families
• Three meals a day
• Clothing
• Case Management
• Childcare Services
• Job Search Support
• Chemical Dependancy Program
• Referrals to outside agencies
• Referrals for low income housing applications
• Life Skills and Adult Education classes
• Teen Groups

Clients have two options during their Emergency six-week residence:

• Plan on entering long-term program
• Work on an exit plan with case manager
